Today, Gold was trading up at the Multi Commodity Exchange for December contracts. The precious metal was up 205 rupees to trade at 60,990 rupees per ten grams. Silver futures for December contracts were up by 665 rupees to trade at 71,965 rupees per kilo when reports last came in.

In the global markets, gold was trading up at 1,995 dollars and 90 cents per ounce at the New York Mercantile Exchange. Silver was also up at 23 dollars and 16 cents per ounce in the intra-day session.
