Gold prices rose by 410 rupees at Multi Commodity Exchange for June contracts. The precious metal was trading at around 60,475 rupees per 10 grams. However, Silver also rose by 575 rupees to trade around 74,900 rupees per kilogram for May Contracts.
In the global markets, gold was trading down at 2,019 dollars and 20 cents per ounce at the New York Mercantile Exchange. Silver added to 25 dollars 20 cents per ounce in intra-day trade.
