Gold prices increase by Rs 302, Silver also appreciates Rs 141

Gold prices today rose by 302 rupees at Multi Commodity Exchange for June contracts. The precious metal was trading at 60,930 rupees per 10 grams. Silver also appreciated 141 rupees to trade around 77,188 rupees per kilogram for July Contracts.

In the global markets, gold was trading up at 2,030 dollars and 90 cents per ounce at the New York Mercantile Exchange. Silver declined to 25 dollars 87 cents per ounce in intra-day trade.
