Gold prices today fell 80 rupees at Multi Commodity Exchange for April contracts. The precious metal was trading at 50,035 rupees per 10 grams.

Silver prices also declined 440 rupees to 63,500 rupees per kilogram for March Contracts.

In the New York Mercantile Exchange, gold was down to trade at 1,896 US dollars and 60 cents per ounce. Silver prices were also down to trade at 23 dollars and 80 cents per ounce in intra-day trade.
