Gold prices on Friday fell 250 rupees at Multi Commodity Exchange for October contracts. The precious metal was trading at 51,450 rupees per 10 gram.

While silver prices up 315 rupees to trade at 55,700 rupees per kilogram for September Contracts when reports last came in.

In the New York Mercantile Exchange, gold was trading down at 1,759 US dollars and 10 cents per ounce. Silver was up to trade at 19 dollars and 20 cents per ounce in intra-day trade.
