Gold prices fell 27 rupees at Multi Commodity Exchange for August contracts. The precious metal was trading at 58,080 rupees per 10 gram. Silver was down by 266 rupees to trade at 69,075 rupees per kilogram for July Contracts when reports last came in.

In the global markets, Gold was trading at 1,913 dollars and 70 cents per ounce at the New York Mercantile Exchange. Silver was trading around 22 dollars and 98 cents per ounce in the intra-day session.
