Today, gold was trading down at the Multi Commodity Exchange for December contracts. The precious metal was down 139 rupees to trade at 59,870 rupees per ten grams. Silver futures for December contracts was also down by 490 rupees to trade at 70,560 rupees per kilo when reports last came in.
In the global markets, gold was trading down at 1,953 dollars and 20 cents per ounce at New York Mercantile Exchange. Silver was also down at 22 dollars and 58 cents per ounce in the intra-day session.
