Gold prices climb over Rs 200 amid price rise in international bullion markets

Gold prices on Wednesday climbed more than 200 rupees amid price rise in the international bullion markets. At Multi Commodity Exchange, gold was trading 230 rupees up at 49,100 rupees per 10 gram. Silver prices also gained 360 rupees to trade at 72,500 rupees per kilogram.
 
In the New York Mercantile Exchange, gold was trading up at 1,908 US dollars. Silver was also up at 28 dollars and 20 cents per ounce.
