Today, Gold was trading up at the Multi Commodity Exchange for December contracts. The precious metal was up 84 rupees to trade at 60,910 rupees per ten grams. Silver futures for December contracts was also up 200 rupees to trade at 71,985 rupees per kilo.
 
In the global markets, gold was trading up at 1,994 dollars and 90 cents per ounce at the New York Mercantile Exchange. Silver was also up to trade at 23 dollars and eight cents per ounce in the intra-day session.
