Gold price touches all-time highs<br/>

Domestic gold prices zoomed to touch all-time highs, today, on on the back of surging global gold prices and a weak rupee. The maximum jump in prices was seen in Chennai, where gold soared 1,095 rupees, to an all-time high of 30,380 rupees per ten grams. In Delhi, gold spurted 960 rupees, to a record high of 30,300 rupees per ten grams. The previous high in Delhi was 29,750 rupees per ten grams. In Mumbai gold prices jumped 895 rupees, to 30,030 rupees per ten grams, while in Kolkata they surged 785 rupees, to 30,245 rupees per ten grams.In New York, gold had risen sharply by 66 dollar, to 1,626 dollars an ounce, after poor US jobs data.
