Gold rose Rs. 100, to Rs. 28,100 per ten grams at Delhi's bullion market on Monday, on buying at lower levels, amid a firm trend in the Asian region. Silver gained Rs. 185, to Rs. 43,785 per kilo, on buying by industrial units and coin-makers. But silver coins lacked necessary follow-up support, and dropped Rs. 1,000, to Rs. 77,000 for buying 100 pieces. Overseas, gold advanced 0.4 percent, to 1,388 dollars an ounce. Silver gained 0.7 percent, to 21.81 dollars an ounce.
