Gold price jumps by 700 rupees in Kolkata after stocks and money markets melted. It touched 31760 rupees per 10 gram to eight-month high. In Delhi, it gained 515 rupees to 31,525 rupees per ten gram. In Chennai, the yellow metal climbed by 695 to 31,505 rupees and in Mumbai by 640 rupees to 31,470 rupees per ten grams.Silver price further shot up by 1,365 rupees to 50,685 rupees per kg on increased demand from industrial units and coin makers.Traders say, Rupee hitting record low of 61.65 per dollar and investros shifting funds to bullion supported the uptrend.
