Gold prices today lost 465 rupees at Multi Commodity Exchange for April contracts. The precious metal was trading at 49,930 rupees per 10 grams.

Silver prices fell 310 rupees to 63,550 rupees per kilogram for March Contracts when reports last came in.

In the New York Mercantile Exchange, gold was down to trade at 1,893 US dollars and 10 cents per ounce. Silver prices were also up to trade at 23 dollars and 90 cents per ounce in intra-day trade.
