Gold plunged 1,575 rupees, to 32,325 rupees per ten gram at Delhi's bullion market, today, on profit-booking by stockists, driven by a recovery in the rupee, and a weak global trend. Silver tumbled 2,790 rupees, to 55,710 rupees per kilo, on poor off take by industrial users and coin-makers. Silver coins plunged 3,000 rupees, to 89,000 rupees for buying 100 pieces on poor demand at prevailing higher levels.Overseas, gold lost 0.9 per cent, to 1,405 dollars an ounce. Silver fell 2.8 per cent, to 23.66 dollars an ounce.
