Gold plunges by <img src="rs.png" height="10" border="0"> 800, biggest fall in two months

Gold has recorded biggest fall in 2 months. The precious metal was down by 800 rupees to touch 28,140 rupees per 10 grams, on frantic selling by stockists in New Delhi on weak global trend and sluggish domestic demand.Gold had plunged by 835 rupees on October 5.Traders said selling pressure gathered momentum, as the metal in overseas markets dipped below 1,600 dollars an ounce on deepening euro-zone debt crisis and strengthening of the dollar.
