Gold jumped 200 rupees, to 17,190 rupees per ten grams at Delhi's bullion market, today. But silver ready declined 100 rupees, to 28,000 rupees per kilo. In the global markets, gold rose to a four-month high, as credit rating cuts in Europe increased demand for the metal as a safe investment. In New York, last night, gold recorded a handsome gain of 15.40 dollars, to 1,168.40 dollar an ounce.
