Gold hits an all time high; reaches <img src="rs.png" border="0" height="9" /> 29,140

Gold gained 200 rupees, to hit an all-time high of 29,140 rupees per ten grams at Delhi&apos;s bullion market, today, on marriage season demand, and as the precious metal rallied in the overseas markets. Silver coins shot up 2,500 rupees, to a record high of 68,000 rupees for buying 100 pieces. Silver ready gained 650 rupees, to 58,000 rupees per kilo.Overseas, gold rose 0.7 per cent, to a seven-week high of 1,803 dollars an ounce, on concerns that European leaders will be unable to tame the region&apos;s sovereign-debt crisis. Silver climbed 0.5 per cent, to 35.13 dollars an ounce.
