Gold glitters at 22,870 rupees on global cues

Gold rose 50 rupees, to 22,870 rupees per ten grams on Tuesday at Delhi's bullion market on emergence of buying by stockists and speculators, amid a firm global trend. Silver gained 1,050 rupees, to 58,300 rupees per kilo. In the global markets, gold climbed 2.08 dollars, to 1,539 dollars an ounce. Silver jumped 1.2 per cent, to 38.61 dollars an ounce.
