Gold fell 250 rupees, to 28,040 rupees per ten grams at Delhi 's bullion market on Thursday, on weak demand at existing high levels, and a weak global trend.Silver lost 500 rupees, to 52,500 rupees per kilo, on reduced offtake by industrial units.In the global markets, gold fell 0.8 per cent, to 1,603 dollars an ounce.
