Gold dropped 301 rupees, to 38,870 rupees per ten grams at Delhi's bullion market today, on the subdued global trend. Silver also tumbled 906 rupees, to 46,509 rupees per kilo.

In the international market, gold traded almost flat at 1,486 dollars an ounce. Silver was quoting flat at 17.54 dollars per ounce.
