Falling for the fourth straight session, gold dropped 200 rupees, to a nearly 11-month low of 27,500 rupees per ten grams at Delhi's bullion market, today, on subdued demand from jewellers and retailers, amid weak global markets. Silver fell for the fifth straight day, losing 500 rupees, to 40,500 rupees per kilo. Silver coins plunged 2,000 rupees, to 75,000 rupees for buying 100 pieces.Overseas, gold lost 0.5 per cent, to 1,252 dollars an ounce. Silver dropped 0.9 per cent, to 18.85 dollars an ounce.
