Gold drops 190 rupees on sluggish demand

Gold dropped 190 rupees, to 30,400 rupees per ten grams at Delhi's bullion market, today, on sluggish demand, amid a weak trend in the global markets. Silver declined 900 rupees, to 53,900 rupees per kilo. In the global markets, gold fell 0.2 per cent, to 1,563 dollars an ounce. Silver lost 0.4 per cent, to 26.78 dollars an ounce, the lowest level since December 29.
