Gold down by Rs 200 to Rs 31,100 per ten grams<br/>

Falling for the seventh straight day, gold dropped 200 rupees, to 31,100 rupees per ten grams at Delhi&apos;s bullion market, today, on sluggish demand, amid a weak global trend. Gold had lost 1,270 rupees in the previous six trading sessions. Silver fell 500 rupees, to 48,500 rupees per kilo, on reduced offtake by industrial units and coin-makers. Silver coins tumbled 1,000 rupees, to 86,000 rupees for buying 100 pieces.Overseas, gold fell 2.20 dollars, to 1,312 dollars an ounce. Silver lost 0.1 per cent, to 21.63 dollars an ounce.
