Gold down by Rs 150, silver by Rs 300 on reduced offtake<br/>

Gold dropped from a record high, losing 150 rupees, to 30,600 rupees per ten grams at Delhi&apos;s bullion market, on Wednesday, on reduced offtake at existing high levels, amid weak global cues. Silver declined 700 rupees, to 55,100 rupees per kilo, on lack of buying support from industrial units and coin makers. In London, gold fell 0.1 per cent, to 1,617 dollars an ounce, as investors await the outcome of the US central bank&apos;s monetary-policy meeting. Silver shed 0.2 per cent, to 28.37 dollars an ounce.
