Gold bounces from 11-month low, regains Rs 28,000 on global cues

Gold surged 475 rupees, to 28,025 rupees per ten grams, at Delhi's bullion market, today, on fresh buying by local jewellers amid positive global cues. Silver climbed 550 rupees, to regain the 39,000-mark, to 39,150 rupees per kilo on increased offtake by industrial units. Silver coins traded remained unchanged at 70,000 rupees for buying 100 pieces. Overseas, gold rose 0.9 percent to 1,139 dollars an ounce.
