Gold and silver continued their rise for the seventh session on Monday, on brisk buying, amid a firming global trend. Gold gained 60 rupees and climbed to a fresh peak of 22,380 rupees per 10 grams in Delhi's bullion market on Monday. Silver shot up 2,300 rupees to a record 74,300 rupees per kilo. Silver coins also zoomed up 2,500 rupees to a new peaks of 80,500 rupees for buying and 81,500 rupees for selling 100 pieces. In the last seven trading sessions, silver has gained 11,100 rupees and gold added 610 rupees.In overseas markets, gold climbed to a record high of 1,518 dollars an onuce and silver surged to 49.79 dollars an ounce.
