Goa results:BJP bags 6 & Cong 2 seats In Goa

Out of 10 result declared so far, BJP has won in 6 seats, Congress 2 GVP 1 and independent 1.

In the Curchorem Assembly constituency Mr. Nilesh Kabral of BJP defeated his nearest rival Mr. Shyam Satardekar of Congress in straight contest by a margin of 8792 votes. Mr. Glen Ticlo of BJP defeated his nearest rival Mr. Dayanand Narvekar of Congress by a margin of 3476 votes in Aldona seat. In Shiroda seat Mahadev Naik of BJP retains his seat by defeating Goa Pradesh Congress President Subhash Ankush Shirodkar by a margin of 2262 votes. In Calangute seat Mr. Michale Vincent Lobo of BJP defeated Mr. Agnelo Fernandes of Congress by a margin of 1869 votes. Mr. Anant Shet of BJP has won from Mayem seat by defeating his rival Mr. Pravin Zantye by a margin of 5719 votes. Cuncolim seat also gone in favour of BJP . Its candidate Mr. Subhash Naik defeated his nearest rival Mr. Joaquim Alemao of Congress by a margin of 1523 votes.

Congress candidate Mr. Mauvin Godinho has won Dabolim Assembly seat defeating his nearest rival Premanand Manockar of MGP by a margin of 944 votes. Mr. Chandrakant Kavalekar of Congress has won Quepem seat by defeating his nearest rival Mr. Prakash S. Velip by a margin of 6373 votes.

In the Nuvem seat Mr. Francisco alias Micky Pacheco of GVP defeated his nearest rival Mr. Aleixo Sequeira of Congress by a margin of 2397 votes.

Mr. Vijay Sardesai an independent candidate declared elected by defeating his nearest rival Mr. Damodar Naik of BJP by a margin of 4000 votes in Fatorda seat.
