Finance Minister Arun Jaitley today said Goa assembly elections produced an inconclusive verdict and therefore post-poll alliances will obviously be formed. In an article, the Minister hit out at Congress, saying it complains a bit too much. Mr Jaitley said, Congress has accused BJP of stealing the mandate in Goa and protested the Governor's decision to invite Manohar Parrikar to form the government.<br/><br/> Mr Jaitley asked how could the Congress be invited to form the government as its 17 MLAs did not even make a claim nor elected their leader. He said, BJP managed to form an alliance and presented to the Governor 21 out of 40 MLAs. The MLAs appeared before the Governor in person and submitted a letter of support. <br/>'<br/>The Finance Minister said, there are several precedents which support the decision of the Governor. He cited the example of Delhi Assembly polls in 2013 when BJP won 31 seats, but the AAP with 28 MLAs with support of Congress was invited to form the government.
