The general elections to 50 Zilla Panchayats of North and South Goa districts will be held on 7th March this year. As per the election schedule announced by the state election commission in Panaji today the nomination papers will be received by the returning officers from february 1 to 8, scrutiny of nomination papers will be done on February 9th,and the last date of withdrawal of nomination is february 10. Counting of votes will be taken on March 9th,2010.
