Goa MLAs heading to Brazil to watch World Cup are to pay individually

Goa's Fisheries Minister Avertano Furtado said today that the six ministers and MLAs heading to Brazil to watch the FIFA World Cup later this month, would individually foot the expenses for the trip, and not use money from the state exchequer. Sources said that Goa Government would not be spending the amount for the proposed trip of six MLAs, including three ministers. Earlier, it was revealed that Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar had given the all clear to the ministers and MLAs to witness the FIFA World Cup 2014.
