Goa Govt decides to airlift 4 victims to Mumbai for treatment

Goa government has decided to airlift four fire victims to Mumbai for treatment after the death of two persons following sustaining burn injuries. Police said a 21-year-old vendor and a 15-year-old student died in the blaze at a pipeline carrying naphtha to a fertilizer manufacturing unit in Vasco. All the four were being treated at Goa Medical College and Hospital.Goa Chief Minister Digambar Kamat today declared a compensation of 1 lakh rupees for the families of the dead and 50,000 rupees for those who were burnt.
