Goa is gearing up for 8th BRICS SUMMIT and BIMSTEC (Bay of Bengal initiative for Multi-sectoral, Technical and Economic Cooperation) Outreach meeting to be held on Saturday and Sunday amid tight security.<br/><br/> Ahead of the Summit, some pre-events and initiatives are being held in Goa from today that includes Meeting of BRICS Finance ministers with BRICS Central bank Governors, working group meeting of BRICS Development Bank and workshop on Export Credit. <br/><br/>Finance minister Arun Jaitley and RBI Governor Urjit Patel are among those attending this meeting. Goa chief minister Lakshmikant Parsekar said 11 heads of state will arrive in Goa to attend the summit. More from our corrospondent:
