Goa is celebrating its Liberation Day today. Several functions are being organised all over the state to mark the ocassion. <br/><br/>The main function will be held at the parade grounds at Campal Panaji where the Chief Minister Mr. Digambar Kamat will hoist the national tricolour, review the parade and later address the people of the state. <br/><br/>The chief Minister will also honour those who have excelled in various fields. Goa was liberated from Partuguese rule on 19 December 1961.<br/>
