Goa CCI welcomes thrust given to infra development in Union Budget

Goa Chamber of Commerce and Industry has welcomed the thrust given to infrastructure development in the Union Budget.Senior Vice President of GCCI, Sandeep Bhandare expressed enthusiasm regarding the provisions for infrastructure development outlined in the budget and financial aid structure for easy access to credit for the small businesses. However, a section of the industrialists here expressed anxiety about possibility of inflationary trend as the service tax has been increased by 1.5 per cent.The mention of Old Goa Churches and Convents for improving facilities and restoration at the cultural world Heritage sites and extension of Visa on arrival to 150 countries from the present 43 countries is being widely welcomed in Goa.
