Globsyn Skills helps youth in rural West Bengal to gain employment through training on DTH Installation and Maintenance Under the aegis of Government of India's Community College Programme, Globsyn Skills (GSDL). This is a joint venture of the Globsyn Group and its 22 per cent equity partner National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC). The organisation is offering a one year Diploma Course in DTH Installation and Maintenance to 50 youths at Silda in West Midnapore district of West Bengal. AIR Kolkata correspondent reports that the one-year course, which ends this month, will see trainees becoming National Occupational Standards (NOS) accredited skilled workers in DTH set-top box Installation and Service certified by Globsyn as the industry face of the programme with Vidyasagar University giving it academic attestation.
