World Day against Child labour is being observed today across the globe. This day is celebrated every year on 12th of June to promote awareness and action to tackle child labour. The theme for 2010 is "Go for the goal’ end child labour".<br/><br/>It highlights to build a political and popular commitment to tackle child labour with social patterns and civil society playing a lead role in advocacy and awareness raising efforts.<br/><br/>Labour often interferes with the education of children and ensuring that all children go to school and get a good quality education are key to preventing child labor. International Labor Organisation’s Convention on the Worst Forms of Child Labor calls for renewed urgency to tackle the worst forms of child labour on this occasion.
