Global players have to take Indian market seriously: Suresh Prabhu

Railway minister Suresh Prabhu has said that Global players have to take Indian market seriously as railway sector is going to receive large investments. Speaking after inaugurating Global Technology Conference in New Delhi today, Mr. Prabhu said, Indian railways is looking for partners to co-develop world class technologies in India.<br/><br/>He also said, the railway sector is receiving large investments and the trend will continue atleast for the next five years. <br/><br/>Chairman Railway Board AK Mital who also spoke on the occasion said, India is lagging behind in terms of development of new technologies in railways and that has to change. He stressed level crossings and interruption due to fog are the two major problems of Indian Railways and he urged Engineers and Experts find solutions for the same.<br/><br/>The two day conference from today has been attended by delegates across the world and ideas on technology would be deliberated.
