Global crude oil prices fell more than 5 dollars today after higher US gasoline stockpiles stoked demand worries and returning energy supply from Libya and Russia eased supply concerns.
So, the Brent crude futures tumbled 5 dollars 13 cents, or 4.8 percent, to trade at 101.79 dollars a barrel. US crude oil futures tanked 5 dollars and 5 cents, or 5.1 percent, to 94.83 dollars a barrel.
Meanwhile, Gold dropped 478 rupees, to 49,830 rupees per ten grams at Delhi's bullion market, today, amid a fall in global gold prices. Silver tumbled 1,265 rupees, to 54,351 rupees per kilo.
In the international market, gold was quoted lower at 1,689 dollars per ounce; while silver was flat at 18 dollars and 42 cents per ounce.
