Global Centre for Nuclear Energy to be set up in Haryana

In Haryana, A Global Centre for Nuclear Energy Partnership will be set up at Jasaur Kheri and Kheri Jasaur in district Jhajjar by the Department of Atomic Energy. The Project Director of the Centre, Dr.G.P. Srivastav today visited these villages and appreciated the efforts made by Haryana Chief Minister, Mr Bhupinder Singh Hooda and Rohtak MP, Mr Deepender Singh Hooda to get this project sanctioned and making available the land for the same.<br/><br/>Dr Srivastav, who was accompanied by a six-member team of officers, said that four schools would be set up in this Centre to study nuclear security, radiological conservation, use of radiostopes and radiation techniques and nuclear energy plant. Deputy Commissioner, Jhajjar, Mr Chander Parkash said that this Centre would be set up over an area of 206 acres and district administration would extend all help in establishing this Global Centre.
