Indian eves defeated defending Champions Korea 2-0 to win the bronze medal in the 3rd Girls Under-18 Asia Cup hockey tournament at Bangkok. The goal scorer for India were Navjot Kaur in 38th minute and Anupa Barla in 49th minute of the game. India dominated the proceedings, despite Korea holding on goalless in the first half. India had finished 5th in the last edition of this Championship at Shanghai in 2009.
