Girls in Haryana not only getting quality school education but also moving ahead in field of technical & higher education: State CM

<span style="color: #222222;">Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal has said that due to the consistent efforts being made by the Haryana Government for promoting girl education, today girls in the State are not only getting quality school education but they are also moving ahead in the field of technical and higher education. Chief Minister was interacting with girl students of the State who have been selected for Pragati Scholarship by the All India Council for Technical Education, through video conferencing at Chandigarh.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Chief Minister said that it is a matter of pride that 280 girl students have been selected from Haryana for Pragati Scholarship and 19 students for Saksham Scholarships.  He said that the All India Council for Technical Education has done commendable job by running the Pragati and Saksham Scholarship Scheme in order to promote Technical Education. The scholarship at the rate of Rs. 50,000 per annum per student is provided in this scheme.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The Chief Minister said that these schemes will motivate girls and differently-abled students to move ahead in Technical Education.</span>
