<span style="color: #222222;">Union Minister for Animal Husbandry, Dairying and Fisheries Giriraj Singh said that the union budget for 2021-22 presented by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has laid thrust on defence, agriculture, infrastructure and MSME. He was speaking at a press conference in Panaji. Goa had asked for 100 crore rupees to celebrate 60th year events of liberation. But the Prime Minister has voluntarily provided 300 Crores to develop Atmanirbhar Goa to more heights, he added.<br />''<br />''Mr. Giriraj Singh said that the budget has also made provision for villages poor, women, youth, veterans. There was speculation that taxes will be imposed owing to pandemic but the budget has not imposed any new taxes, he clarified. Allocation for the health sector too has been enhanced in the budget, said  Giriraj Singh.</span><br />
