Giriraj Singh attends review meeting on various flagship schemes of rural development in Assam

<span style="color: #222222;">Union Minister of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Giriraj Singh today attended a review meeting in presence of Ranjeet Kumar Dass, Minister of Panchayat &Rural Development, Government of Assam on various flagship schemes of  rural development in the State.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Addressing the media Singh said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi wants to set a new benchmark of Development in Northeastern states and within 5 years every household in Assam will get piped drinking water connection under Jal Jeevan Mission.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The Union Minister informed that MGNREGA work in Assam will be monitored by geo-tagging and all land records of the State will be in digital format within a few months. He informed that under PMGSY-III, Ministry of Rural Development has sanctioned Rs.1955 crore for 2760 km long road projects in this financial year.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The Union Minister informed that 280 agriculture related projects are going on in Assam.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Singh reviewed the Jal Jeevan Mission, Land Records Revenue, PMGSY, Watershed Management,  ASRLM, PMAY-G, MGNREGA, SHG, Shayama Prasad Mukherjee RURBAN Mission and Panchayat and Rural Development.</span><br />''  <br />
