Youth Affairs and Sports Minister Dr M S Gill inaugurated the fourth edition of North East Tamchon Football Tournament in New Delhi today. 16 teams from the north east region are participating in the eight day event. Kick starting the tournament Dr Gill asked the participating players to promote the spirit of brotherhood through their game. The tournament was started in 2007 in the memory of late Mr Tamchon ACP, Delhi Police who was an icon for north east people living in the capital.
