Pakistan and Russia have agreed to re-launch their relationship and re-engage each other to strengthen their bilateral and economic relations. Pakistan Prime Minister Yousf Raza Gilani said this in Beijing today.<br/><br/>Gilani and his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin, who met on the sidelines of Shanghai Cooperation Organisation vowed to adopt a policy of understanding in all fields of mutual interest.<br/><br/>Gilani said his interaction with Russian prime minister was held in a meaningful, important and friendly environment. Gilani said Prime Minister Putin supported Pakistan's stance on war on terror and offered to increase the capacity-building of its law enforcement agencies. The Russian Prime Minister agreed to pursue the policy of counter-terrorism for ensuring regional peace, he said. Gilani said Putin agreed to support Pakistan's membership in Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) and that Pakistan was an important country in the region and Russia would support Pakistan and India's composite dialogue.<br/><br/>
