<span style="color: #222222;">In Telangana, the authorities of Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) are fully prepared for facing any eventuality in the wake of heavy rain predicted in and around Hyderabad for next two days.<br />'' <br />'' Municipal Administration Minister K. Taraka Ramarao today informed media after a high-level review meeting that all other works have been set aside for next few days and the focus will remain on protecting people especially in low-lying areas.<br />'' <br />'' He said, about 30 Special Officers have been identified and 50 boats have been kept ready to carry out relief measures, in case of need.<br />'' <br />'' Andhra Pradesh and Karanatka State Governments are sending 15 boats each to meet the urgent need.<br />'' <br />'' The Minister further said, 33 people died and three more are missing in the flash flood and heavy rain that lashed the capital city last week.<br />'' <br />'' Over 27 thousand people are in relief camps and 80 residential colonies are still marooned in and around Hyderabad and electricity supply is yet to be restored in over 120 localities.<br />'' <br />'' He further said, about Rs. 60 crore  have been spent for relief works and Rs. 700 crore worth works including repairing roads, tanks and others are yet to be taken up.<br />'' <br />'' Meanwhile, the Met officials warned that the cyclonic circulation in the Bay of Bengal will develop into low-pressure area and it will become well marked during further 24 hours.<br />'' <br />'' Under the influence, heavy to very heavy rain is likely to occur at isolated places in Hyderabad and nearby areas in Telangana.<br />'' <br />'' </span><br />
