The CBI Special Court has adjourned the hearing in the Provident Fund scam at Ghaziabad district court, involving misappropriation of crores of rupees. Six former judges are chargesheeted in the case. The court has fixed the 14th of next month as next date of hearing. CBI Judge A K Singh adjourned the hearing on Friday in view of the strike called by the Ghaziabad Bar Association on Ravidas Jayanti. At the last three hearings the six accused former judges had not turned up even after they were denied relief by the Allahabad High Court. The CBI had requested the court to issue non-bailable warrants against the six former judges for not appearing before it.
