Germany to enhance bilateral cooperation with India in various sectors

The visiting German President Mr. Horst K’hler is inaugurating a computer science centre in the National Capital on Wednesday afternoon. He is on a six day visit to India. <br/><br/>He held detailed discussions with the Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh and addressed the captains of industry.<br/><br/>Mr. Kohler sought cooperation from India in various sectors .He urged India and Germany to work together in a new multipolar world for a better global governance and inclusive growth.<br/><br/>He said, due to global recession many countries have adopted protectionist tendencies but the world must continue to take decisive action to counter such tendencies.<br/><br/>Appreciating India's stand on climate change, Mr. Kohler said, the industrialised nation must work together with emerging economies to limit climate change.<br/><br/>The visiting dignitary emphasized that cooperation on renewable energy and increased energy efficiency will therefore continue to be priorities in Indo-German development cooperation.<br/>
