Germany will no longer accept air freight from Yemen. This was announced by the Interior Minister Thomas de Maiziere late yesterday after parcel bombs from the country were found on US-bound cargo flights. Earlier, France's civil aviation authority announced that it had suspended air freight from Yemen in the wake of the interception of two parcel bombs in Dubai and Britain. Belgium ordered its airports to increase surveillance on passenger and cargo flights from Yemen and those bound for the US.
