German Bank to provide loan assistance of Rs. 3,750 crores for metro system of Nagpur

German Government's Development Bank KfW will provide a loan assistance of about 3,750 crore rupees for the modern and sustainable metro system for Nagpur city.<br/><br/>An agreement in this regard was signed today in New Delhi by the Department of Economic Affairs and Director General of KfW. Nagpur Metro is the first metro to be financed under the Indo German partnership for clean, socially inclusive and climate friendly mobility for people in cities. <br/><br/>Nagpur Metro Project envisages two corridors. The First corridor is around 19 kilometre North-South section from Automotive Square to Khapri and Second corridor is around 18 kilometre between Prajapati Nagar and Lokmanya Nagar.
